How bedrock works

Every coin has a floor price backed by real SOL. Buys and fees keep moving SOL into the floor, and the raise-floor crank can only move it up.

STEP 1

Launch

A creator picks a ladder shape. The whole supply is split into price levels on Meteora DLMM, and the creator can seed SOL into the floor.

PRICE ▲
STEP 2

Climb

Buying takes coins from the next level up and leaves SOL behind. Each level cleared moves the price one step higher.

BUYBACKS BURNED
STEP 3

Floor rises

SOL from buys and half of every trading fee gets moved into the floor. Anyone can press "Raise the floor" to do it. Coins the floor bought back are burned, so fewer coins share the same pool.

HOLDS
STEP 4

Floor holds

If everyone sells, price walks down the ladder to the floor and stops there. The floor has enough SOL to buy back every coin in circulation at that price.

FAQ

Short answers. If something is still unclear, it is a bug in this page.

A pool of SOL for each coin, big enough to buy back every coin in circulation at the floor price. While it is in place, selling stops at the floor.
